Sustainability & Impact Specialist

Position Summary

The Associate, Member Engagement supports the Manager, Member Engagement in the development and implementation of effective member recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention strategies.

Duties & Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design:

  • Design and produce visual content for print and digital platforms, including brochures, newsletters, reports, social media posts, and infographics.
  • Develop visual identity for various campaigns, ensuring alignment with the HPSA brand guidelines.
  • Create event materials, such as banners, flyers, and signage, for conferences, webinars, and community outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to design email newsletters, social media assets, and online advertisements.
  • Edit and enhance photos, illustrations, and other visual elements for publication.
  • Ensure that all designs are accessible and optimized for different platforms (print, web, social media, etc.).

Communications:

Education/Experience

  • Bilingual in English and French is a requirement
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous Experience in not for profit or sustainable driven company is an added plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas visually and verbally.
  • Experience with working on WordPress
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
